Founded by Jennifer Zazo-Brown and Terry E. Brown following long careers in federal cultural leadership, the firm builds upon decades of experience across the Smithsonian Institution and the National Park Service. Our work focuses on helping institutions strengthen internal alignment, navigate growth and transition, and advance mission-driven initiatives through thoughtful collaboration and strategic guidance.

Leadership

Jennifer Zazo-Brown, CEO & Chief Consultant
Jennifer brings over two decades of experience in museum leadership, public engagement strategy, and professional development. Her work at the Smithsonian Institution and the National Park Service included leading national professional development programs, building cross-sector partnerships, and managing complex cultural initiatives that brought together institutions, communities, and stakeholders.

Terry E. Brown, Managing Partner
Terry retired from the National Park Service after a distinguished 35-year career in cultural resource stewardship and public engagement leadership. He served as Superintendent of Fort Monroe National Monument and led nationally significant initiatives including the commemoration of the First Landing of Africans in 1619, as well as major preservation and partnership efforts across the NPS system.

Together, our work is grounded in lived institutional experience — combining strategic leadership, cultural stewardship, and decades of hands-on engagement with the organizations we now serve.
